| Stick In Israel |
There are currently six Stick players in Israel. We are constantly in touch with one another, support one another, and learn from one another. For these purposes, we regularly organize meetings at which we exchange ideas, jam, try one another's gear, watch video concerts of Stick players and so on. If you want to join one of such meetings, you are welcome! You don't have to be a Stick player to attend our meetings. We will update you about the dates of the upcoming Stick meeting in Israel soon. Keep tuned! |

Ariel Edelman (Bat Yam) |
Sticks:
Grand Mapple Stick (self-made), Classical tuning, Passive pickup, heavy gauge strings
Standard Mahagony Stick (self-made), Classical tuning, Passive pickup, light gauge strings
Ariel studied accordeon in music school. Later he started mastering guitar in tapping style. A few years ago, he discovered the Stick on the Internet, listened to its sound and fell in love with it. Since the Stick was not easy to aquire in Israel, Ariel decided to build one by himself. He gathered as much as possible information about the Stick and made it, or exatly made a couple - one 10-string and another 12-string, each one in different tuning. Currently Ariel plays the Stick in gospel style for worship.
